Check commercial pressure washing against a defined San Diego scope, with realistic stain expectations and photographs of completed areas.

Define completion before work begins

A useful walkthrough checks the surfaces in the approved scope. List entries, walkways, service areas and any special stain treatment separately. Take baseline photographs and identify existing damage. If the contract only says full cleaning, managers and crews may judge the same result by very different standards.

Review the surface under sensible conditions

Wet concrete can look darker and more uniform than dry concrete. Where practical, review appearance after the surface has dried sufficiently for the agreed check. Distinguish removable dirt from embedded staining, paint damage or repaired concrete. Pressure washing does not guarantee that every substrate will become one identical color.

Check access and cleanup too

Look at barriers, restored pathways, moved items and the agreed handling of residue. Confirm that hose routes and equipment have been cleared before normal traffic resumes. A clean entry is not the only deliverable when the site also needs safe access and coordinated tenant operations.

Record follow-up decisions

Document any missed scope items and discuss them with the authorizing contact. Separate corrective cleaning from new restoration requests. Keep photographs and the completed scope for recurring service planning. A clear completion record helps the next visit focus on genuine maintenance needs rather than repeat vague expectations.
